Jamie Horn, MidwifeAfter years of working with women and children in rural communities as a therapeutic/prenatal yoga instructor and recreational program coordinator, I developed a passion for birth advocacy and knew that I had to become a midwife. I feel that my professional background and intuitive nature has helped me to truly value how midwifery blends heart and humanity into the science and physiology of birth. I am a firm believer that with each empowering birth experience midwifery holds the power to benefit not only mothers and families, but our society as a whole. For these, and countless other reasons, I am honoured to do this important work. My other passions include cooking, traveling, and dog rescue.
